I text my college professors. could be college students?
I hate when people send really blunt, cold, borderline rude texts like "No, you can't." Would it have been unbearably grueling to type "No, I'm sorry, but my policy for the class doesn't allow students to re-take tests"? Yes, if the student did poorly, it's probably their responsibility, but it's always possible that some extenuating circumstances of which you're unaware that should at least earn this person a bit of sympathy. Regardless, you might be surprised at the effect you can have on your students just by using a slightly kinder tone. As a student, I've always felt more determined to do well when I felt that my teachers truly cared about me and my performance. It's not that I was lazy in my other classes, but rather that having that kind of teacher gave me the extra motivation of wanting to please a person I really liked and respected.
Cant's definitely a word. I go shooting regularly and one of the measurements that the DCCT takes is the cant angle - how wonky the rifle is.
That's what you get for not letting him re-take the test. Now let him re-take the test. :)
omg I was dying laughing and wow good one but tsk bad to call it on text as accident.
Thats funny

You must be a cool teacher for letting your students text you! You might be cool enough to make them think it's ok to call them a ****.
