Baby come back

By Noname - 16/03/2009 00:49 - United States

Today, I rode in the cab on the way back to my dorm from the airport. The taxi driver was on the phone and not really paying attention. I paid him and got out of the cab, but he drove away before I could get my luggage out of the trunk. FML

Next time....get your luggage first, THEN pay

And what was then? Have you found him?

I hope you got the license plate number sao that you can/could get your stuff back... and you should definitely report the driver, if you haven't already. I almost agree with #6, that using your phone while driving is like talking to someone in the car, except that a) you have to hold the phone somehow, which makes it harder to drive however you do it and b) cab drivers should be paying attention to their passengers, not their friends on the phone.

Always, get your stuff out, THEN pay. NEVER, NEVER, NEVER give them the money before you have your stuff.

Hahah oh #20. You are an idiot. Noname is what they put when the poster is anonymous.

#20 noname is default for someone who doesn't have an account

#20 - You and everyone else who thinks noname is one person are really starting to piss me off now.

Hey, this is like the 5th post by noname! It's gotta be fake! Haha, he must be a newbie, considering every other noname story has someone complaining about it. Just fyi, I just wanted to point out to the admins that they should change the name to "anonymous". That way less people clutter up the threads.

#20, you should submit an FML about the completely idiotic post you just made. stupid.

1) If a taxi driver was on the phone, I probably wouldn't get in. 2) Pay after you get your luggage. 3) I'd call the cab company to complain and try to get the luggage back.

This isn't a FML at all; it's more of a minor inconvenience. Just call the cab company and let them know and they'll keep it for you until you have time to pick it up.
