Today, I was very sick, and my boyfriend was taking care of me at his parents' house. I was laying on the couch, innocently watching a movie while he rubbed my feet, when his stepmother came home from work. She freaked out, accused us of having it off on her couch, and kicked me out. FML

Today, after weeks of coming home to find my furniture all tipped over, thinking the place was haunted, and accepting my boyfriend's offers to come over and "comfort" me, I came home from work early. I found my boyfriend in the kitchen, kicking over all the chairs. FML

Today, my boyfriend and I were having sex while his parents were out. They came home early, ran upstairs, and knocked on the door. Scrambling to find our clothes, we gave up and just hid under the blankets. They barged in, drunk and laughing, and tried ripping the covers off. FML

Today, my girlfriend and I got into a huge fight. She kicked me out of the apartment and told me to never come back. Devastated, I waited outside of the apartment door for hours, hoping she'd reconsider. I ended up falling asleep. I woke up to her foot stomping on me, screaming, "I meant it!" FML

Today, I was watching a movie that had a mild sex scene in it. My mother walked in just as that scene was starting and she flipped out. I'm now grounded. She's taken my TV and laptop out of my room and refuses to let me see my boyfriend because she's sure he's the cause of my "disgusting behaviour". FML

Today, I took my boyfriend to meet my parents over dinner. During the meal, he excused himself to the bathroom, and when he didn't come back after a few minutes, I went to check up on him. I ended up finding him in the living room, pocketing a pack of ambien from my mom's bag. FML

Honey, I know exactly how you feel. My mother-in-law is pretty much bat-shit crazy, but my man is one of the best, and I'm so glad I'm with him. I know dealing with the crazy stepmom will be a bitch, but take comfort in having an awesome boyfriend.

I've been in similar situations many times. I live with my boyfriend and his Mom watches WAY too many freakin Spanish Soap Operas and thinks everything in them happens in real live. She spazzes when I hang out with other boys (even co-workers) cause she thinks I'm cheating on him. She yells at me for being in his room with his door closed or him in my room with the door closed when we're not doing anything except annoying the obnoxious noises of the blender in the kitchen. She yells at me for not 'doing enough' for him after I buy him a new shirt he's been wanting, new games, and after massaging his back for him on a bi-nightly basis. She acts like she adores me when other people are around, but she really sees me as the 'evil bitch' from her soap operas, and will call me out for anything and everything possible when she has the chance. I've never done anything negative to deserve this! If it wasn't for this damned economy issue, we'd both have moved out two years ago.
