I didn't even know chain e-mails were still a thing...
Tell her you heard a Nigerian prince wants to give you 10 million dollars from a chain email
she's probably half right.. I don't trust anything to do with doctors, 99% of people believe everything doctors say, me on the other hand I only trust surgeons anything else are just a bunch of quacks who only think about is their pockets, selling "medication"
I've been taking insulin for 18 years and I don't have cancer. Artificial insulin is nearly identical to insulin produced by humans, so there's really no chance you can get cancer from it.
What's the alternative? People should definitely research their options, look into the medications, and research the hospitals/doctors they go to. You can also make the choice not to take a medication if you feel the 'side effects' would be bad. While some doctors do 'line their pockets' a majority of them don't want to murder people (unless you go to a doctor with a hook in a back alley.)
That is really strange though and dangerous - I mean even if they did cause cancer - at least they keep you alive.
Spoiler alert: they don't.
OP, you could always get something like an insulin pump or an OmniPod if you fear that your mother might throw your insulin and syringes away
I second the suggestion on the locked mini-fridge. I had no idea chain emails were still a thing. Are the spam-bots mutating again?
YDI, considering she convinced you to throw them out.
Where in the world does it say anyone actually threw anything out???
It says tried meaning Op didn't. read something several times before commenting
"THEY'LL GIVE YOU THE AUTISM!"
After you hide your insulin, you should warn your mother than many electronic devices such as cell phones and computers utilize electromagnetic radiation. Maybe then she will leave you alone and go live under a rock somewhere in the middle of nowhere.
*sarcasm* Because chain emails are more reliable than words from an actual professional doctor.

"Well, Mom, not taking insulin causes death."
Does she also believe vaccines cause autism?
