Today, I discovered my 10 month-old is terrified of my laugh. Every time I start to laugh, she screams in terror. It's getting depressing. FML

OK, that is kinda tough, but don't stop laughing. In fact, laugh MORE so that she'll get used to it. I knew a ababy boy like this, he outgrew it with lots of exposure :)

Did you never laugh before she was born? Babies usually do t react like that to noises they heard regularly while in the womb.

Do you laugh like a movie villain? I do and I could understand how it would scare people. Maybe try to bring it back a bit. Do you have a dog? Maybe give the dog pop corn or play it a song?

In a few short years she'll be a teenager screaming in terror pretty much at everything you do. Right now she's just practicing.
