You shouldn't date exclusively online for a year. Talking over the internet is a completely different experience from talking in person. I can MAYBE understand dating for a week or so before you decide to meet up, but you totally deserve it if you actually dated someone online for a year. I feel sorry for you, but nonetheless that's not a good way to go about it.
