Today, an Air Force recruiter called me. I've been wanting to join the Air Force for 5 years now. After chatting on the phone with him for 10 minutes, I mentioned to him that I had asthma. He quickly told me I can't join any of the military branches, and to have a good day. FML

Today, I was in the middle of an interview; it was going great until I started coughing. That coughing led to an asthma attack, which led to nonstop gagging. I couldn't even answer his final question, "Are you okay?" FML

Today, I told my parents I was thinking about joining the army. They looked at each other and laughed for about 10 minutes straight. I wasn't joking. FML

Today, I attended a work interview. My hay fever has been flaring up during the hot weather, causing my throat to swell up and make me short of breath, which I explained. The woman interviewing me told me I was unsuccessful, as customers wouldn't be able to understand someone with my 'disability'. FML

Today, I found out at a routine check-up that I may have asthma. How it went unnoticed until now, I do not know. I guess the world just needed to come up with a new way to make me miserable. FML

Today, I finally got over the knee injury that has been holding back my military application for 6 months. They sent me to the optometrist, who said my eyes were too bad for service. FML

Today, to add to the pointlessness of my existence, not only have I been rejected from the Army, the Air Force, and the Navy, I received a rejection notice from the Army Reserves. FML

Today, I tore up my airborne academy admission documents because my lab results weren't good enough. A few hours later, they called me to apologize for the misunderstanding, mine turned out to be perfect and they'd accepted me. They need me tomorrow with all the documents to finalize the admission. FML

...and when he is faced with high stress and intense physical exercise, with no way to hide an inhaler when they go through his personal stuff to lock up anything and everything that will detract from his training... ...that is when he will get acquainted with the number 39-10 (Entry-Level Separation - Incapable of service due to pre-existing medical issues)...and then sent right home.

GO too a different recruiter. The key word here is HAD. I HAD baby asthma and I grew out of it. I served 6.5 Year's in the air force. It never caused a problem.

I was always fat, one time the air force called me so I talked for about a minute then said "Well I'll stop you right there, I weigh 250 pounds so the air force isn't going to happen" I laughed, he laughed and said have a nice day and I got pulled off the calling lists 😂😂😂
