Don't be offended op. From what I learned in sociology, it is thought by studies that having a symmetrical face makes a person mote attractive, trustworthy, and so on with positive traits. don't take it personally!

Interesting fact: people with completely symmetrical faces are treated even worse because of how unnatural their faces appear

Sorry, but in REAL life, trust is earned, not demanded based off of some preconceived notion that you deserve it. Prove to them you deserve their trust regardless of appearance and soon you will have a trustworthy reputation. However, it does sound like you're not that trustworthy at all if this came from a friend or relative

How unchangeable is facial hair considering you can shave it off on a daily basis?
