First world problems of the highest calibre.
That must really grind your gears. You can't even relieve the pressure with a nice cup of coffee.
Why would you ever take you chances with something that says to depressurize before *blank*.
This reminds me of the time I forgot to take the CO2 charge out of the whipped cream canister before I took the lid off back when I worked at Starbucks. I smelled like sour milk the whole day :/
Why do I get the feeling that's what would happen when you open the lid of a whipped cream with no stopper inside just after it's been charged? I'm actually a little curious what would happen if you did take the lid off just after it's been charged with no stopper inside. Not enough to actually do it and find out, of course. lol.
So...what does happen?
Given that the pressure is probably caused by heat and steam, it would likely cause an explosive release of pressure, throwing steam and hot coffee grounds everywhere. So OP is very lucky if they don't have some unpleasant burns.
Esplosion
Omg #8 that cracked me up.
I do not have said machine so I have no idea why this is an FML. What happens?
That may be true #14, but tone doesn't really come across on the internet. You could have just as easily summed up the answer and it wouldn't have come off as a jerk statement.
