Good for you for trying! : ) Yoga is a pretty challenging practice. The last time I did it regularly I was barely making it through the classes and had to leave in the middle of some. By the end of a month I could feel improvement and strength. Some poses, particularly in the standing series, (though there are some nasty ones on the floor too...) are so tough. Keep at it. I wish you the best of luck!
Not to come off rude or anything but yoga at home shouldn't have literally made you pass out, you should have done easier versions or less of the exercise and kept going, remember quality not quantity.
I always thought yoga was easy. You see it on TV, all those poses and people doing it effortlessly. Got the chance to try it in college and was really surprised at how hard it was. Even though I thought I was in good shape (running and biking to get anywhere) it STILL was hard for me so I admire OP for trying it.
Yoga is alot tougher then it seems. But hey, now you got an improvment goal to work towards... Making it though the whole cd. Measurable progress ! very important.
Almost YDI, but then I realized you're doing more than I'm ever gonna do.
I say start walking outside.
just don't stop. you'll be able to do more as you go along, keep it up.

It's hard to go straight into vigorous exercise right away, and from what I hear yoga can be pretty intense. Start off light and work your way up, nothing to be ashamed of here.
You can't push yourself too hard, OP. People begin at different levels, and you have to respect your own limits. I'm sure with practice, and repeated attempts (at your own pace) you'll be a pro! Good luck!
