Great job!

Today, I decided to bleach my belly hair. I bought some body hair bleach at the drug store, and I used it exactly as instructed. When I removed it, I was horrified to see my belly was about three shades lighter than the rest of my body. The hair was still exactly the same darkness. FML

If you shave, the new growing hair will be cut-off straight at the top in stead of being very thin, thus APPEARING to be thicker and darker. But when it grows back and wears down, it will look like it did before. And don't go saying 'hey when I was twelve my facial hair was thin and blonde and then I started shaving and now I'm twenty and my facial hair is thick and dark!'. Because that's the effect of puberty, not of shaving.

Why is everyone harping on this woman? she's obviously trying to change something about herself that she is sure is unnatractive. Its not her fault she was born with belly hair!

shaving is less effort, makes it come back looking thicker, as it grows back, makes it stubble, and doesn't last as long as the bleach would. so I'd say she's skipped the lazy option actually.

you're just the brightest light on the Christmas tree now, aren't ya

you don't want to shave, that will only make it worse. you will have to wax it or use a epilator

FYL for having so much and dark belly hair that you have to bleach it. and come on people, who wants a girl with a shaven belly? imagine the stubbles when it grows back, eww.

That's why you test those things on a small piece of skin that's not visible. You could have had an allergic reaction, then your belly would be red and pimply now in stead of just a few shades lighter

This. I was waiting for someone to point out that the directions on most, if not all, of those things (at least any I have EVER read) says to test on a small, inconspicuous part of the body in case of things like this.

Good luck with that one! But seriously there should be a 800 number you can call, and they will advise you of what to do.
