Gross
You better start taking better care of yourself.. Either that or stock up on adult diapers.
Just wait till you hit 50.
You could also have a medical condition. 40 seems a little young to have bowel incontinence troubles. Maybe you're having too much fibre and your bowel movements are too soft? Or maybe you're having loss of pelvic floor muscles due to an unknown illness. I'd bring this up with your doctor, because this doesn't seem like normal bodily function for 40 years old. Better to get checked out and be sure there isn't something else wrong, maybe there's a way to fix it instead of just living with it.
It's got nothing to do with age it's about your diet.
I turn 40 this summer. This isn't happening to me. See a doctor or change your diet.
Over 50 myself, and don't have that issue. Try living a healthy lifestyle and the shart problem will take care of itself. Eat right and exercise...make your life better AND longer!
