Happy Birthday

Today, I woke up to my dad telling me that we're going to Disneyland. Apparently, by "we" he meant him and my mom. They did, however, make a point to say "Happy birthday!" before they left. FML

Well that sucks throw a big ass house party while they are gone. Not as good as Disney land but still get to have fun.

My parents did that to me, but it was we're going to Hawaii! By the way we're dropping you off in California to stay with grandma and grandpa for your birthday. Both grandparents hated me at that point. Worst birthday ever...

The almost same thing happened to me about 10 years ago. My mom very briefly called to wish me a happy birthday. The call was VERY BRIEF because she and my dad were at Disney World with my brother and his wife and kids. I was a widowed mom of three little kids, but at least I got a quick call.
