he wouldn't have said it if u weren't loud. so stfu!!
I would have explained that while its true I may have been conversing loudly, that he was being just plain rude. When your calm and polite it makes the other person look like even more of a jackass. I also would have nudged his seat every so often on the plane journey, especially once his dinner was served :P He had the right to ask you to keep it down, but the way he did it was wrong so you have every right to get your own back.
...which is how air rage incidents start. Take an already annoyed and aggressive guy, let him get a few drinks in him, get a bit tired and more cranky, then start poking him every once in a while. What could possibly go wrong?
^ more of a solution than a problem lol
I do remember an incident where a passenger attacked another with a plastic fork, so this isn't too far off!
I'd have talked even louder the entire ******* flight, and I'd have buried my knees in the back of his seat.
^ This. If you're being honest OP, I'll bet you'll admit you were talking a bit loud, and you can understand the guy's point. On the other hand, he probably didn't need to be a dick about it. I guess the lesson we've learnt today kids, is that sometimes, people don't behave in an ideal manner.
that's rude. you should of told him to stfu, it's not like your not paying for the flight. if I was you I would of moved if the flight wasn't fully booked anyway.
you are a bitch. so since you pay then you don't need to respect others?
I swear some of you are retarded. He didn't tell her to shut the **** up before she started talking, it was the other way around. It's her that disrespected the other passengers first. So your statement should be (and was) the other way around. If she disrespected him and all the other passengers, then why should he respect her?
you're an idiot who clearly hasn't flown enough. Etiquette goes like this: while grounded you can make as much noise as you like. If the lights dim, you have to whisper. I hate you losers who can't make a friend so you take it out on others who can.
Shoulda said back, 'Sounds like a personal problem, bro' ...who does dude think he is? Bring some ear plugs, or head phones, or...I don't know...just mind your own damn business. That's life, sometimes people are annoying. Read a book, ignore it the best you can, and keep your mouth shut. FHL, OP...I woulda made it hell.
You needed it if you were loud
OP people like you are one of the reasons I hate airplane flights. As if being stuck in a pressurized aluminum tube several miles in the sky with barely enough room to move for several hours wasn't bad enough without listening to a loud and annoying passenger. Meet him halfway on his advice and talk lower.
oh cool. You sleep before the aeroplane takes off. kudos to you... duche.
get over it
You should have switched seats with the person in the middle seat next to your new friend. That way you could talk quietly, face-to-face, and then make out. On a 9-hour flight, who knows what else you might do? Hopefully, Mr. Grumpy won't be offended by your sex noises. He probably will, but tough crap.
