Agree with the other poster - it was probably a way of her dropping hints and being coy. Rather than say “If we get married, I’d be so happy!” and potentially scaring you away, she worded it differently to say you’d make a great husband. It was probably like a playful, tongue-in-cheek thing. I know you’re probably super nervous so your gut reaction was to perceive her words negatively, but definitely err on the side of OPTIMISM in this case! Go forward with the proposal on her birthday and let us know how it goes! 😄😄😄😊😊😊
