Today, I was late for work again because of road workers in front of my house parking me in. This has been going on since February, and will be until August, "Weather permitting." FML

park your car extending out just enough to keep them from parking there. put your trash cans there or otherwise block your path out with something you control

As much as this sucks, if you know this could happen, plan accordingly. Add extra time to your morning schedule so you will not be late for work (and will have some extra time on the days where you’re not dealing with the vehicle). Either that, or park somewhere else until the city is done with the repairs.
