Panic stations!

By Stressmess - 01/12/2009 00:19 - United States

Today, at 4 a.m., I remembered that I had not studied for my Spanish exam. I panicked, jumped out of bed, and frantically began searching for my notebook. It wasn't until I destroyed my desk and woke up my roommate that I realized that I'm not enrolled in Spanish this semester. It was a nightmare. FML

I once had a dream that I studied all night, and when I woke up it felt like I hadn't slept at all.

Spanish exams are always a nightmare!

I had a similar nightmare all through undergrad: I would find that I was enrolled in a spanish class but had forgotten to go all semester so I was obviously failing. It always freaked me out and I thought it was real when I woke up, but I had tested out of having to take any languages at all!

Definitely have had this nightmare. I woke up once with the idea that I was enrolled in an English class, and not only did I have a paper due, I'd been skipping all semester. I completely panicked. Took me a good half hour of checking every print-out of my schedule, checking my enrollment, etc. to learn that no such paper (or class) existed.

stuff like that happens to me all the time. it can get annoying, so i sympathise.

Oh man... I get dreams like this a lot, they're awful. But can't say I have let it carry over into waking life! FYL :(

Haha I've done that before, or you wake up trying to remember if you forgot to pay a bill or do something important...

That actually made me lol, that's awful. Bad times for you!

Wow... There are a lot of people on here who are experts in what constitutes FML. You guys all get degrees in "personal shitty experiences?" I haven't heard of too many schools giving that option as a major, but hey, people are majoring in the most outlandish things now-a-days, who knows. Anyway. That's happened to me before. And the dream was so realistic I woke up and kinda freaked, wondering if I had an exam or not. And, I had already graduated. I still get those types of dreams. They were more prominent right after graduation and over the years has slowed down. But I had one the other night. Just freaked me out! I reenrolled for a new degree, started my classes, and then just stopped going, cuz every time i tried to I got lost and gave up until I realized I was probably failing everything (hard to explain a dream mentality). And when I was still IN college I dreamt that I missed my midterm for a important class and had a full panic attack the next morning trying to figure out what to do, until my roommates pointed out I was reading the date wrong. Woops!

You had a nightmare...so what? May your next dream be filled with rainbows and fluffy bunnies, who then proceed to give you a Spanish exam.

what a ****... spanish is easy anyway... good luck with rebuilding your desk btw
