Testing, testing

Today, I was refilling my lighter. Afterwards, I gave it a test light. I must've spilled some fluid because my thumb caught on fire. FML

That should actually be fine, you just smother your thumb quickly before the fuel has a chance to burn off and start burning your thumb, and you'll be fine. People actually do this with alcohol for tricks

LMAO 😂 caught my whole hand on fire doing the same thing many years ago, learned I should wash hands& wipe lighter off before test light

This is what happens when you play with your lighter. Be thankful you only burned you thumb and didn’t burn down your house or blow up your car.

This is how human's learn things. You fail and next time you make adjustments.

I refilled a wick type lighter for the first time the other day, and one of my biggest concerns was getting fluid on my fingers and desk, and then accidentally setting them on fire. So I used a wet wipe to clean my hands, the desk, and the outside of the lighter for good measure before test firing. The fire was contained to the wick where it belongs.
