Don't go to the batch party or you will embarrass tourself
its clear youre not her best friend. every girl wants her best friend in the bridal party. and her comment was rude and uncalled for.
I hate it when the bride is more vain than loyal
Almost this exact thing happened to me. One of my closest friends all through elementary-college was getting married and asked if I would be a bridesmaid, only to retract the offer later. She wouldn't tell me why, until I found out she replaced me with another girl I never knew her to be close to at all and who i had major problems with and finally she said it was only because she was the only person she knew who could fit the dresses she got. But asked me to still come to the bridesmaids events where everyone else gave me pitty looks and had an obvious what are you doing here vibe and snooty gloating from the girl who took my place so I didn't go to the rest and it upset her.. and now haven't even seen this friend since, three years later. she still gets this uncomfortable vibe around me and ends up bringing it up even tho i told her it was fine and its not that important. So who knows the real reason.
I would bitch at her. Lol
what a bitch! Don't speak to her. what a ****.

And you call her your "best" friend? **** her.
That truly sucks. Go and be polite, but don't invite her when you get married.
