Today, a 7-year-old girl came up to me and told me to go fuck myself. I told her to watch her language or else I'd tell her parents. Her mom happened to be nearby and actually heard the conversation; she came up to me and told me to go fuck myself as well. FML

YDI. The girl obviously did not have a good influence never the less, unless the girl hurt you, was endanger, or hurting herself you should have just walked on. Even if the mother was not doing a great job it's not your job to raise her kid.

It doesn't matter, really. At that point it is the right thing to do. If the parent doesn't know how rude her kid is to total strangers, then they should. If they do? You get this. And if the kid doesn't know it's wrong to do things like that, well, maybe the little brat should.

Ugh I hate it when parents are so damn stupid. I knew somebody who taught their kids to curse and later regretted it. You didn't do anything wrong OP, and to the people who said you deserved it are probably brats anyways.
