dont worry OP it will eventually leave the vents or you can kill it with a fly swatter or some wasp spray when it comes out of the vents.
I would think with a 3 year old you would still want to take cover especially with him so he doesn't get stung. Just keep paying attention and should come out soon. Good luck OP
