Today, after not seeing my boyfriend for 9 months, he came to meet me at the airport. I was so excited when I first saw him that I broke into a sprint to greet him. Apparently, running through the airport looks suspicious, because a security guard tackled me. Now I have a broken nose. FML

Today, after patiently waiting to see my boyfriend for a month because he was overseas, I excitedly went to the airport to finally pick him up, only for him to walk straight past me to greet his friends. He didn't even bring back anything for me, but brought back a suitcase full of goodies for his friends. FML

Today, I flew to see my long distance boyfriend who I haven't seen in 6 months. Upon seeing me, he ran up to me, picked me up and swung me around like they do in the movies. In doing so, my foot hit a 4 year-old child who was running past and knocked him out. FML

Today, my boyfriend returned from a 2-month internship in New York. As I saw him exit the plane, I imagined him running to me and kissing/spinning me around passionately like in movies. He got closer and closer, and as I opened my arms to embrace him, he runs past me saying, "BRB, I GOTTA TAKE A SHIT." FML

Today, I was in the airport after saying goodbye to my boyfriend who left for three months. Walking back to my car, I saw a young couple kissing passionately. If that wasn't bad enough, the guy then picked his girlfriend up, spun her round in the air and her foot kicked me square in the jaw. FML

Today, I broke my boyfriend's nose trying to pop his blackheads. His leg jerked in shock, kicked my leg, and I fell, breaking the mirror, cutting myself, and slamming into the bathroom sink. I woke up in the hospital, with over a hundred stitches, and my poor boyfriend in jail for suspected domestic abuse. FML

Running through the airport looks romantic on movies - in real life? Not such a great idea. The security guard probably should have tried to do something nonphysical to stop you first, before tackling, though...

I call bull. I travel as a job and I run all the time to catch late flights. It is not a huge deal to see someone running in an airport. That guard is retarded.

ohhhh jeez :[ I broke my nose. It sucks. New Jersey, eh? (yes, I'm Canadian) Was it in Newark? They're pretty intense there. I arrived in Newark from Rome and departed there for Toronto and it was top notch security. It was pretty frightening.

I have to call bullshit on this one. If she were running through the airport, I'm sure any guard that was concerned would at least yell "Hey you, stop!" before TACKLING an American citizen into the ground. I mean, how does running even implicate anything threatening? Would terrorists really strike us by running at our citizens and battering them? Do suicide bombs require a running start? Come on people, this is ridiculous. It's not like the security guard couldn't plainly see that she's just a normal American woman, and not an Islamic fundamentalist or something...

HAHAHAHAHAHA thats really funny. but sucks for you... I dont know what airport this was but the ones Ive been to people run all the time, there are generally several people that have to run to catch flights. I know Ive run many times to catch a flight.
