Today, I achieved a personal goal by completing a half-marathon for charity, despite being overweight and unfit before training. When I finished I cried, not because I was proud of myself, but because I ran the last 2 miles while being followed by kids on bicycles calling me a "fat cunt". FML

Today, I took part in a charity run for a good cause. I'd trained for months and showed up, only to trip and fall flat on my face at the starting line. I spent the rest of the race with scraped knees and a bruised ego. FML

Today, I decided to get back into shape and go for a run. With a 1/4 mile left to run, I saw a hot chick a block ahead of me running. Trying to show off I ran hard and passed her stopping just outside my complex. I started to throw up right as she came past me because I had run so hard to pass her. FML

Today, I competed in my first half marathon since getting my new wheelchair. The mile marker I was meant to follow turned out to be the ex I cheated on. I eventually outpaced her, only to bump into the ex who cheated on me. I’ve gotta stop shitting where I eat. FML

I'm pretty sure since she said she was crying she didn't ignore them. Its not that easy ignoring someone bringing you down on something you're already insecure about but at least she did her best

That's exactly what I was thinking. Kids nowadays are such little assholes. Extremely rude and mostly out of control. Most of the time these children's parents are either way too lenient or not there. It's sad and society pays for it by us living with these little jerks. So let me say Congratulations to you OP. That is a tremendous feat and you should be extremely proud of yourself. I probably couldn't do it so that is impressive. Keep going and you can do anything. Good luck to you OP! :)

First of all, way to kick some ass! You didnt do a 5 or 10K you did a half-marathon! Despite what young immature children were saying, you should have your head high. Motivating yourself to anything like that is always the hardest part. So forget those who cant even do that, and look what you were able to achieve!
