Similar thing happened to my mother in law--she hired guys to clear out the brush and overgrown plants in her yard. She came home to find they chopped down her beloved dogwood trees. How could they think that was brush/overgrown??
Wow talk about unprofessional! Did you check up on this supposable "professional" tree removal service company on Angie's List? If not write them up, they need to do a free removal for your tree and a give a huge apology to your neighbor!
neighbor should sue and you should get your tree removed for free. he should sue for the amount it would cost for a replacement and planting of a NEW tree that is FULLY GROWN enough to hold a tree house for his kids.
You and your neighbor need to file a complaint and/or lawsuit.
File a complaint WHAT KIND OF SERVICE DOESN'T MAKE SURE ITS THE RIGHT PLACE
wasnt me
Sounds like those kids are getting a brand new tree house and your get a complimentary free service of yours. Seriously that a big mess up on the companies part. Do not by any means pay for anything. Speak to the CEO/ Manager and MAKE THEM PAY!!!! Well unless the address is wrong. Then your on your own.

How can they be so reckless about that stuff and not even verify first? It takes a lifetime to grow big enough for treehouses. Poor kids. :/
You would think a tree removal company would know what a diseased tree looked like.
