Today, I finally got the courage to tell my best friend that I've had a crush on him since our junior year. Since I couldn't see him I shot him a text. His response: "Yeah I know. I've tried kind of ignoring it." FML

Well this might not as bad as it could have been, he's known for ages that you have a crush on him, it doesn't make him too uncomfortable, and he's handled it and stays friends with you. You still have a best friend, and a lot of times that's worth more than a crush.

Oh don't worry too much! Seriously he was proberly like "say what?!" when he first read ur txt. I've been in his position before. Extremely embarassing and ive been in urs too except people were saying I liked this guy but I didn't and yea. I would have done the same thing to tell you the truth. I bet he tried to ignore it so it wouldn't get in the way if ur friendship or he wanted o avoid the awkwardness.

that happened to me too, only my best friend told him (without my consent) and he's not my best friend. in fact, he likes my best friend much more than me, actually, he's her best friend. He actually cares when he upsets her and goes out of his way to rectify the situation, be it begging or whatever. She is like a magnet to all my crushes and i'm extremely jealous of her, especially when she flaunts the fact in my face, plus she's got all her crushes all over her. *sigh* it's very frustrating.
