Worth it.
If I was in his position and I'd of known that mobile data was going to be used (which he obviously didn't), I'd rather not Skype her at all and just text, it's totally not worth it.
#24 I've been in a long distance relationship, it's definitely worth every penny to be able to see and talk to them.
I completely agree coming from someone in a long distance relationship
Well I don't agree. I'd rather save my mobile data and stick to texting. I don't know maybe I just don't care about my relationships enough ?
A costly mistake, I am sure you will check next time. YDI but FYL, we have all done stuff without checking.
Depends on your carrier because my carrier only slows your data down when you go over the amount you pay for but they never charge you.
I love 'YDI but FYL' comments. So accurate
At least it was used on someone that matters and not on something you'd be kicking yourself over for a while. I'm sure your girlfriend appreciates it, even if your wallet won't! :P
what if they were fighting over Skype haha that would be the worst
That's why you get unlimited data.
Or use WiFi since unlimited data isn't available in every area / on every carrier.
you cant get it anymore. unless you go to a bad brand like T mobile or sprint.
you can't with Verizon
"bad brand" like T-mobile but yet you can't get it anywhere else, that makes alot of sense.
i have boost mobile though
Tmobile isn't bad if you live in an area where they have good reception, Such as New York City, Philadelphia, LA, etc..
I do that to. I try to keep a warning on when I reach a point. I know I have it on and then turn it off and raise the warning.
We have all done it! Just double check your data is turned off for things like this next time. :)
For streaming and Skype and such, I always put my phone on aeroplane mode, then turn wifi back on, simple to do and much less stressfuk
#6 or ya know, just turn off mobile data, so you can still get calls and texts
I pretty much only ever iMessage, and that way I don't have to go into settings at all, it's just a bit quicker for me personally
Added to mini heart attack list. Thanks for your contribution.
and they say you can't put a price on love. lol, ah well, lesson learned.
if this is only FML in ur life than op u r actually lucky..
Cry me a river. You could say that about most of the FMLs on this site!
I think it's trying to communicate.
This made me cringe. Although I have "unlimited data" it slows down after a couple hours of use to the point where I can barely use it. Hopefully you have a similar data plan, if not... I feel bad for your wallet.
