Today, I found out that my writing teacher entered in one of my paper grades wrong. After many emails, she said she can't change my grade unless I fax her the original. I need that grade fixed so I can keep my scholarship. I can’t find the paper anywhere. That one paper could cost me $30,000. FML

Today, I found out that I chose a wrong class and my 30-page paper worth 10 credit points that I wrote for that class is basically worthless now, and my graduation might be postponed another semester just because of that. FML

Today, I found out that I owe my college a little over $10,000. Why? Because, due to a slight misspelling of my name, the scholarship that I have been going insane trying to meet the requirements for is not actually giving me any funding. FML

Today, I got back the essay I wrote about how my country's education system is fucked. At one point, I made a spelling mistake. My teacher wrote a note about it, basically calling me illiterate, and telling me to pay attention in school instead of whining about it. She misspelled "school". FML

Today, after turning in a paper that I worked really hard on, I got it back with a grade of 0. In the feedback section, my professor wrote: “In all my 37 years of teaching, this is by far the worst essay I have ever read.” FML

Today, my teacher told me that she couldn't find my hand-written essay on the Renaissance, and that I have to re-do it all by tomorrow. I later saw my essay on her desk, covered in a massive coffee stain that made virtually everything unreadable. FML

Today, I received a terrible grade for an essay I worked really hard on. I had two friends, one being an English major, check it over. However, apparently I "clearly didn't use spellcheck" on this essay just like the last one I submitted to her. FML

#1: By original, the teacher means the graded copy so that she can verify that the OP isn't BSing her about the wrong grade thing. And, OP, that really sucks. I hope you find it.

60 - just because you didn't get a 30,000 dollar scholarship to a nice school doesn't mean you have to be a dick. 101 - ...they already have the scholarship and must keep their grades up in order to keep the scholarship year after year. 105 - The OP never mentioned anything about handwriting a paper... oh and ALL professors require important papers to be typed. You did not deserve this. I've had minor issues like this before and even though they got worked out the process is extremely frustrating. I truly cannot imagine losing such a large scholarship to the error of a professor. I am so very sorry. best of luck to you.
