I wonder what her reaction would be if she ever picked up the phone and you were calling your boss to ask him a question.
Hahahahahaha that would be funny.
"You'll get your new inventory when you get it! DON'T EVER CALL HERE AGAIN!"
Talk about whipped.
You need to ring this woman and tell her to stop being ridiculous! This woman's insecurities are holding up your career. Explain that you have no intention of ever having any kind of relationship with her man and tell her to move on. He has obviously had an affair in the past, or why would she be so paranoid...
Sometimes you just can't fix crazy. And confronting them makes it WAY worse. My best friend is a dude, he often introduces me as his sister, & his ex wife was convinced he was cheating on her with me. Even though we only hung out together with her, and I was only ever alone at their house to babysit their kids so they could have alone time. But the psycho chick could not be persuaded nothing was going on (btw friends with him for 20 yrs, we do act just like brother & sister)
Maybe she has trust issues
hmmm... it seems his wife is alittle too involved in his work life. Either way, theres nothing you can really do. Talking to her certainly won't help.. theres no reassuring paranoid people like that (which brings me to wonder if he has cheated on her with an employee in the past. However, none of your concern). FYL. :(
Clearly there's only one thing to do here. Have an affair with your boss.
Make her think your a lesbian, then there couldn't be an affair with her husband. Then you can get promoted.
Easy to do too. Just get a really close friend to play stand in, & have the boss man invite both over for a "business dinner" sounds like boss is basically a pretty decent dude since he's being honest n not making up bs excuses. She gets promotion & poor boss gets less grief
Oh oh, I know, she could have an affair with his wife. That outta do the trick.
Get a lawyer involved.
