Today, I got a writing assignment back. After meeting with my professor specially after class and meticulously combing through every word of that paper, I got a low D. Turns out, he graded me down on every suggestion of his that I took. FML

That's really terrible teaching. I'm sorry op. What's the point of giving pointers if your not allowed to use them? I thought that was the point of "teaching"?

I've done all the assignments for my English class and I have a C. It's so annoying that teachers who don't teach actually have teaching credentials.

My bio teacher has us number the pages in our notebooks tape pages in. She tells us if we should tape it all the way down or as a certain kind of "flippy". She marks down our grade if we don't copy what she writes word for word and color/highlight in the exact same colors. She grades our notebooks and intends on only giving out 9/10 to anyone with a perfect notebook. This really ***** over all of her students who have 100% in everything else.

The exact same thing happened to me!!! Except when I went to go ask him how I could improve, he got really offended and defensive for no reason. I feel your pain OP
