Today, I had a box full of crickets in my room. I sealed it up with tape and went to take a shower. When I returned, I found that the box had popped open, releasing almost all of the crickets. I can still hear the chirping. FML

All you people wondering why OP is "collecting" crickets... Seriously? I feel like it isn't that hard to figure out that he owns a reptile.

As a reptile owner myself, I know the pain of lost crickets. I would recommend you place a bunch of glueboards to catch as many as possible.

I had that happen to me once, before there was an option to post it on the internet~

Worst phobia... I dunno how you manage to stay in ur house call the damn exterminator.

Not like crickets are poisonous or even carnivorous. Pop a chill pill or two.

87, not all phobias make sense to others.

Lmao pop a chill pill? no thanks. Unless you enjoy bugs infesting ur home then knock yourself out. I dont mind insects, as long as they are outside & are not roaming my home then its all good, im pretty sure you'd be tripping hard also if there was over a hundred of crickets.

Four days ago they were released, and fast forward to today they're out and about still making noise.

Every FML starts out with "Today," regardless of when it actually happened.

You got a box of crickets. You obviously have either a reptile, amphibian, or an arachnid, or all of the above. Just take your pet out and put him/her in the direction of the chirping. Might take a few times, but you'll get rid of your cricket problem eventually, and your pet has fun hunting.

she has a leopard gecko... they are very easy to lose. get sticky traps.

Geckosrock99 33

Keep track of your gecko while he/she is hunting and you won't lose him/her. I've owned a leopard gecko, so I know how they like to explore, and hide in little areas you can't always reach. Mine fell asleep in my shoe before.

Something similar just occurred in my house too. I had 30 odd crickets in a cricket keeper for my lizard, my kitty thought they were cat toys and dumped the box. Those bastards are hard to catch once they're free.

I hope you don't have a similar accident in your love life.....

Do you normally trap your dates in boxes?

Three years ago in my high school, the senior prank was to realize a ton of crickets in the halls and I shit you not they have bred and our school is still infested with crickets

In the plus side you will alway have a musical house

today you had a box of crickets and then its nearly 4 days later? why you lying?
