You should probably change your dog's diet.

Change the VET! Tails have NOTHING to do with their digestive system. You're only hurting the dog by squeezing the poop out! Give the dog myralax it's safe and will more ALOT more comfortable for both of you.

My dog was really badly constipated a lot but then we changed her diet. If you feed your dog applesauce, smushed green beans, or smushed cooked carrots once a day it should get a lot better ! Hope you're doggy feels better

Dear OP, I've worked with dogs for years, the best thing I've found is adding a small amount of mineral oil to the food every day. But Also try a better quality food (try something with meat high on the list and nothing that says by products of any kind) Walmart sells some food called "Balance", it is very good quality for the price. Encourage our dog to drink more fluids by giving it a chicken or beef broth ice cube now and then as a treat, or even add some water over the dry food. Most dogs really love water on dry food and it's less rich and cheaper than canned dog food. Good luck! Hope your dog is pooping well soon! -Kae

I'm not a vet but I think your dog need a emergicial surgery, can you imagine the amount of bacteria and other shit that are in its intestines because of this problem? Just take t he poor thing to the vet!
