Okay, first off, I am a women. As for the fml, I was complaining that I pay such a high price to get those two texts a day and the occasional phone call from my employer to cover a shift. Expensive paper weight is what it is and I'm stuck in a contract. With the debate on price, yes, very expensive. I get unlimited text as well as calling (god knows what for), and 1 gig of data which I never use up since I'm almost always in wifi. I do in fact have somebody on my plan with me but that only adds another 10 dollars a month to my bill. There's also insurance on both phones, considering they are smart phones and I'm a bit of a klutz. I know I could always shop around with other phone competitors but living where I do if you so much as want service in your home you have little choice. Any more questions? :P

to all you commenters OP didn't ask for a survey of phone plans. all the FML states is that she is on contract. I'm sure she knows about other companies and plans now but can't switch unless the hefty cancellation fee is paid.
Don't get a credit card if you can't afford to pay them back. Simples.
Get more friends.
$160 a month?!? Holy crepes...that's way too much man. Maybe get a pay-as-you-go phone.
OK here is what is going on, when u r on a family plan if u only have 2 lines u only save like $5 a line, the real savings are when u have 3, 4, or 5 lines, the more lines u have the cheaper it is per line. I bet if u checked with your provider and got rid of the second line your bill would only be like $85/mo. and just so u know, u can get rid of the second line without paying the cancellation fee, just make the other person get their own account and transfer the line to it or just split the bill with that person 50/50. Right now you are paying for your friends cell phone also. Just so u don't think I'm full of shit, I used to work at Sprint selling phones and plans
I'm reading through these responses the OP got and laughing cause so many people are trying to save her money on her phone bill. They missed the real point of her FML, that no one calls/texts her. She is lonely. That concerned her more than the expensive bill...
Why pay $160 for two texts...? Pay as you go would be cheaper. Even MY plan would be cheaper where it's $70 for unlimited texting/video/picture messaging, 100 canada wide minutes, fave 10 who I can call endlessly, 100mb of data, and free evenings and weekends for phone calls.... I get a lot more than two texts a day but it doesn't change the price

Cancel the texts and instead use that 160 to of that which you owe, or start to at least.
... Why the **** are you paying that much on a phone bill?
