The fact that it's both your first anniversary week and birthday makes me suspicious that your girlfriend's friend is just pulling your leg - a prank, or one of those dumb "relationship tests". First port of call though - talk to your girlfriend about it. If it's true, she may have the decency to own up. If she denies it, whether you believe her will be up to you. However, if it turns out that she has been unfaithful, hopefully the lease is only in your name and you can find a solution for the rent gap that will result from booting her out.
