Today, I told my boyfriend the exact moment I fell in love with him: when we made eye contact in a crowd on our fifth date. He asked if I wanted to know what he was thinking at that moment. I then found out it was, "I really hope she can't smell that fart." FML

OP here! I did laugh. That's all there was to do. It just caught me completely off guard, I was expecting something sweet or romantic. But it's definitely something that he would do. And no, I couldn't smell it because I have a sinus condition that prevents me from being able to smell- he just didn't know it at the time.

How romantic. He remembers that moment and he was thinking about you.

Not gonna lie, I probably would have started laughing. If nothing else, at least he's honest!

This is sweet in a weird kind of way. He remembers the exact moment, even if it was for the wrong reasons, and he also cared enough in the moment to still want to impress you and make you like him. It's also freaking hilarious. I would've laughed for days had my hubby told me that.

if you don't mind me asking, how did you catch him in a crowd if it was your fifth date? the way you described it made it sound like it was the first time you met him

#17, she probably met him at the club, as in they took separate transportation to said club. It's not the first time she saw him, it's just that she was looking for him in the club.

Awww he was concerned for your well being! That's at least something!

Well at least you didn't smell it. Plus he's caring and thoughtful and remembers your fifth date even. He's a keeper
