Channels made me laugh so hard I cried.
Wtf? ^ auto correct changed chanks! DYAC
I'm sorry for your loss. I also apologies for laughing at your mistake.
This reminds me of Malcolm in the Middle.
Ouch.
shit.
I had to speak in front of my command a number of times and it's funny the shenanigans that came out of my mouth. Embarrassing but funny after the fact. I'm sure your family understands with the stress levels elevated when giving a speech like that. Not everyone is good at public speaking, especially when emotional.
Did you fix it up nicely by immediatly saying "for you will always be in our hearts"? (as in: "you won't be missed, for you will always be in our hearts.“)
"If looks could kill" I'm pretty sure no one in OP's family would show up to the funeral in order to quote OP's verbal flub.
I wonder what their faces looked like...
Keywords
"You won't be missed...because you're still here with us in spirit." There. All fixed.
I accidentally said "chanks" to an asian customer the other day instead of "cheers" and "thanks". It's easily done!
