Today, I was going to a concert. I left my wallet at home because I was afraid it would get stolen, or lost or something. After an awesome night, I came back home to find that my house had been broken into, and every dollar that was in my wallet got stolen. FML

To clarify, they went through pretty much every drawer in the house, so I would have had to lock it in a safe or something, I suppose. And, it was Metallica :P

This is why you don't leave money out in the open. Put it in a dresser drawer, underneath some clothes or something. The same goes for any valuables.

Wow. Those crooks were really determined to get your wallet

Isn't it ironic? Don't ya think?

Massive irony, but at least the concert was good!

I'm going to assume that the thieves stole more than just the petty cash in his wallet. They probably wrecked the place. It was a smart move to leave your wallet behind, because your insurance company will cover your house getting robbed, but wouldn't cover you losing your wallet at a concert.

EPIC FAIL! :) Don't resist the will of the wallet: if it wants to be robbed of your money, it will, regardless of what you do :)

talk about bad luck! clearly another power was like punishing you for being too cautious haha my only advice would be live a little! "the brave don't live forever, but the cautious don't live at all."

haha, wow that really sucks. In all honesty I would have done the same thing. At least you know, the odds are this type of thing happening again are nill.
