crispyjello69 tells us more.
I put it on Facebook to see if anyone had any recommendations besides just trying to stay hydrated. I didn't list my exact symptoms, because let's just face it that's gross! It would have been nice if my father asked how I was feeling or talked about rescheduling, but neither happened! It will be a conversation for another time!

I'm curious if your username has anything to do with your stomach ailments. If I ate "crispy jello" I think my stomach would have a problem too.

For a stomach bug - clear liquids only for 24 hours. If you are still vomiting or have diahreah after 24 hours thendo it for another day. Try gatoraid of sports drinks. You can also have clear juice with a pinch of salt, or water with 5ml of sugar and a pinch of salt (a pinch is no more thn 2 ml) per full glass. Clear broth or jello is fine too. Sip often thru the day and try to take in lots. Do not take aspirin or advil while you are taking only liquids as they can upset your stomach and make it much worse. Tylenol is fine but only if you really need it. If you also have a high fever see a doctor.
I know it's too late, but for future reference, drink flat 7UP, Sprite or any clear lemonade - Even flat Coke or Lucozade if you have no 7UP, but the clear stuff works best! It's proven to cure 90% of all ailments in here in Ireland, lol! But seriously, it adds electrolytes needed from when you're sick and it also dissolves bile (if you're puking up bile).
lemonade icy poles and crushed ice! works a treat when you have a stomach bug.
Idk why u have a -1 cuz ur spot on bro XD
I don't really blame him since he probably didn't want to catch it. But he could have at least just told you instead of just ditching you.
@25 The last time I had a stomach bug I couldn't even hold down a sip of water. What could I do if something like that ever happens again?
When that happened to me, I sucked on Popsicles. I wasn't able to keep water down, but the Popsicles were able to keep me hydrated. Don't bite off and swallow any chunks though- let it melt in your mouth if you end up with a chunk that falls off.
Probably not the best idea to eat out immediately after a stomach virus anyway
I wouldn't have gone either

Stomach viruses can be contagious for up to a week so I don't blame him especially as someone who has emetophobia. Maybe he does too?
That's actually somewhat reasonable minus the fact that he didn't tell you. He should have rescheduled for sure. So yes, certainly FYL, OP.
