Today, I was holding a yard sale. A man came up to me and asked if he could buy a pair of red and white sneakers that I'd found in my attic and had never worn. Five bucks later, he was walking away with what I now realize was the pair of shoes signed by Michael Jordan given to me by my uncle. FML

YDI What an idiot. This might be an FML if your spouse/kid had held the yard sale.

And THAT is no one's fault but your own. You didn't even look at them before selling them?

Wow, your an idiot -____- Maybe seeing some scribble on the shoe should've lit something off in your brain, or at least see what it was... Plus Jordan shoes can be easily identified...or at least with everyone i know YDI

bullshit. the OP would've seen the signature.

You didn't notice until he was walking away? Are you blind?

that sucks, good luck with ur uncle

Ugh. I can so relate: When I was about 5 years old my best friend gave me a toy. So i decided to give him something as well. I found a cute little ducky that squeaks and gave it to him. He was very pleased with it and I was very proud of myself. As he walked away with it my mom had a glum face which she later explained to me that the toy- duck was her childhood toy that she had since birth. Full of guilt; I contacted my friend so he could return it for something in exchange. He lost it. I know i deserved that though, but it still haunts me even though my mom is fine with it. I still feel very guilty :P

I wouldve sid nope don't have em then wait until he's dead then sell it but too late. sucks 4 u.  nice uncle to give u those
