Aww, that is really sweet :-) You have an awesome mom!
What the hell's wrong with all the people saying this is a good thing? Seriously?! I guess it'd be a good thing too if she gave him a surprise morning ******* too. You people are sick.
It seems like you're making a couple of assumptions that many other commenters have not -- first, that the original poster is male (maybe yes, maybe no), and second, that the mother had some sort of sexual designs here (I certainly hope not). My impression was that this was a mother trying, somewhat misguidedly, to cheer up her (maybe grown, maybe not) kid. For a mother to admire her kid and want to boost the kid's mood and/or self esteem does not mean the mother wants to do anything beyond that.
I think that was a nice pick me up. You should write her a thank you note.
At least you know your mom cares about you. Thought it would be nice if she had said it was from her.
Lol awesome truth!

At least she cares :)
Hey, your mother cared enough to feel you could use a pick-me-up and to give you flowers -- sounds pretty good to me! You can still enjoy the bouquet, and as an added benefit, you don't have to worry that they might be from a creepy stalker. 8)
