Today, I was looking through my computer's history to find a website I had visited. I found an online forum where my son was discussing how to inject Oxycontin. FML

Oxycodone is not a form of heroin, and neither is methadone. Methadone is used to give heroin addicts the same feeling as heroin, and the feeling goes away after the first use. Oxycodone is a pain reliever that is one molecule away from being heroin. At least he's not doing Heroin. I've done Oxycodone, and methadone. it's not bad, as in it's not that addicting or fun. If you pm me ill gladly explain to you what to do, and to help.

And how old is that sonny of yours?

Opium the key ingredient in heroin is refined into forms of codeine, morphine, and oxycontin so get ur son into rehab fast!!!!!!those are very addictive opiates.

To verify, and I work in a pharmacy and have for quite some time now. Oxycodone/APAP is the generic for Percocet and Oxycontin. The amount of APAP in the drugs are what differenciate the two. The name brand Oxycontin is still very much available. It is ust much more expensive than the generic. The same differences can be seen in Lortab/ Lorcet. Both are composed of Hydrocodone/APAP. Lortab comes in the strengths 2.5/500 5/500 7.5/500 and 10/500. Whereas Lorcet comes in the strengths 7.5/650 and 10/650. The ONLY differences are in the APAP quantities. Both Hydrocodone and Oxycodone are derivatives of Codiene. Either hydrogenized or oxygenized to make them stronger. Oxycodone is the strongest of the two and is such listed as a Schedule II drug by the FDA due to dangers of addiction and overdose. The same goes for Pseudoephedrine which was just taken off the shelves the first of this month and listed as a prescription only schedule 3 drug due to the meth problem.

Lol @ all the youngsters who don't know what oxy is. It's a very strong prescription painkiller that when taken can cause hallucinations and a sort of euphoric feeling. Lady, keep an eye on your son. Injecting oxy can be deadly.

Everyone keeps jumping to conclusions. If I didn't clear my history, people would be amazed at the shit I run across. He may just be curious. Don't just assume he is doing it. Talk to him. And yeah I realize that it is in a forum discussing it, but lots of teenagers talk about stuff they don't know anything about.

You should really find out why your son is looking that up. He's probably going through something very serious. Sometimes parents are the last to know, you know.
