Oxycodone is not a form of heroin, and neither is methadone. Methadone is used to give heroin addicts the same feeling as heroin, and the feeling goes away after the first use. Oxycodone is a pain reliever that is one molecule away from being heroin. At least he's not doing Heroin. I've done Oxycodone, and methadone. it's not bad, as in it's not that addicting or fun. If you pm me ill gladly explain to you what to do, and to help.

For all the people blaming the OP for being a bad parent: even the best parents have kids who do stupid things. Maybe the OP wasn't parenting enough, maybe he was parenting too much, but chances are that he was doing the best he could. Kids can make their own choices, and the OP is lucky he found out before his kid ODed and died.

to be honest with all you.. im not a parent at all but ive had brothers n sisters that were tweakers so that kept me away from dope.. but then again ive done other shit.. every kid is going to learn for them selves weather its trying it or having someone they loved do it for them to realize its not what they want.. you just got to show them theres better ways then that and that drugs just dig you a deeper hole and hope they listen and if not you can visit them in prison

oxycodone is the generic for oxycontin (which is the brand) so chemically speaking they are both equivelant not one is stronger than the other ( 80mg of oxycodone has the same effect as 80 mg of ocycontin). it'd like prescribing a patient ultram and the pharmacy dispensing tramadol. anyway fyl op hope your son gets out before it's too late.

Actually flaming cookie. Oxycontin and Oxycodone are not the same thing. Oxycodone is a instant medication where ur advised to take it every 3 or 4 hours. Oxycontin on the other hand is meant for long term pain control. Percoset is the generic for oxycodone except it has tylenol in it. Just to let you know.

Hey genius, Percocet is a BRAND NAME - oxycodone is the generic. OxyContin is the time release formula of oxycodone. GOOGLE, IT WILL SAVE LIVES FROM COMPLETE IGNORANCE.

The drug in this fml is a strong painkiller closely linked to heroin. Never had to use it myself but if you read the rest of the comments you can pretty much deduce that its highly addictive stuff.
