Today, I went to a bone and joint specialist because of excruciating back pain. Before the examination, the doctor told me that the possible reasons for the pain could be arthritis, sciatica, or scoliosis. After the examination, I found out that I have all three. FML

I experience sciatica due to scarring caused by a slipped disc. I empathise and sympathise with you as it some days it is horrific and going sometimes weeks with only 1 to 2 hours of sleep a night due to the pain is something I would not wish on my worst enemy.

We'll look at the bright side...at least you don't have osteoporosis.

I feel you. When I was a kid I went to the doctor and found out I have asthma. It sucks to learn you have a lifelong condition.

Try cannabist to relieve the pain my grandfather had the same symptoms so you don't get addicted to greater degree of pain killer meds

Join the club man - am 31 and have had all 3 for several years!

I technically don't have scoliosis, but my spine is twisted in a way that makes one of my legs a good few centimeters shorter than the other. Needless to say, this makes me very prone to activity induced injuries and pain.
