Today, me and my friend decided to spy on my crush. He lives across the street, so we climbed on the roof of my house and watched him with binoculars. He was working out, and after 5 minutes he started writing something. He put a piece of paper against the window and it said, 'Stop watching me.' FML

I generally take stalking as a compliment; it means I'm interesting enough for you to waste so much time watching me. It generally happens on the internet of course; it may be different IRL. It's possible that he just wanted to do something funny that would make it to fmylife.

Typically this is how stalkers start off. They first watch, then realize the person they're watching knows. So now they'll try to hide more, like dress up as a tree, and stalk. Next thing you know, you're sending love letters and candy to him, and when he denies it, you'll go through self-hate and doubt, and carve his name on your forearm/chest to "show off" your love for him. Then next thing you know, you get slapped with a restraining order, but oh now, that won't stop you from him. That's just one obstacle from your love, despite the fact he told you he doesn't like you and he has a wife and child or even remember your name. Then later on, you decide to kidnap him and have him all to yourself but you forgot to feed him while he was in the closet. To prevent this from happening, I recommend next time you have a crush on someone to tell them! The worst thing s/he will say is No.
