Today, yet again, my 3 year-old daughter came home from a few hours with her father, screams and cries over everything, and when she realizes it won't get her anywhere, screams at me that she hates me and that she wants to go home. I calmly told her she is home, and she screamed, "This is not home!" FML

It could be she just doesn't like kisses. I know I didn't at that age. I didn't enjoy receiving or giving them. I always thought they were wet and gross, something to put up with because your parents thought it was a sign of love. Even when I grew up and started kissing guys, I didn't like it at first, and even though I've grown to like it, there are still other forms of affection I prefer. And I still don't like kisses if it's not from a romantic partner. I just don't like the sensation of it, I guess. It doesn't mean she doesn't love you. She might just prefer to show it in other ways.
