Today, my boss told me I might get fired because I didn't break up a fist fight. I am over 7 months pregnant and both of the people who were fighting are bigger than me. FML

Unless it's your job to stop fights, I think it's illegal to get fired because of that... Congrats for your pregnancy :) !

Honestly OP, I'd say screw that place Your babys more important, image if someone accidentally missed a punch and hit you instead (your boss would probably say it's your fault for trying to break it up too) Maybe see if you have a lawsuit worst comes to it

I would say they are trying to cook up another reason so they can claim they did not fire her for pregnancy but neglect of duties or whatever. Essentially an attempt to avoid paying maternity leave.
