Today, my boyfriend of 2 years took me to get a tattoo done with his name on. He paid for it. After it was done he told me it was over between us and he thought it'd be a nice reminder of him for me. FML

Today, I got a tattoo with my boyfriend's name on it. As we're coworkers, I showed it to him thinking he’d love it. He told me he couldn’t continue the relationship anymore since he realized he wants to fix things with his wife. Three hours of pain and 2 years down the drain. FML

FYL and YDI at the same time . First of all , never get a tattoo with someones name .. thats just dumb . They stay forever , guys don't . And second , what an asshole . Thats mostly his fault .

What a sadistic asshole. On the downside, you have an unwanted tatoo, but on the upside, at least you've gotten rid of this bastard from your life. Seriously, that is one of THE most awful break up stories I have ever heard. Don't listen to all the people who are calling you dumb over this...yeah, it's true that getting a tattoo of someone else's name is never a good idea, but we all do crazy things when we're in love, and this is not your fault. You can always get it redesigned to hide the lettering, or cover it with heavy duty makeup while you save up to get it removed. If this guy had any decency, he'd pay for the tattoo removal himself, but since he's obviously a scumbag, I doubt that will happen. I'm really sorry this happened to you.

That evil to do but why the in world would you ever get a tattoo of his name??? if u never did it wouldn't have happened. NEVER, I REPEAT NEVER GET A TATTOO OF A BF/GF'S NAME....enought people have, do you not learn from these?
