Puppies "relieve" themselves a lot - they're tiny lol. You could've stopped a few times on the way back, given him a bit of air and a chance to stretch his legs whilst going toilet. :) But no matter, you have him home now and that is all that matters.

I don't know who you bought the puppy from but dogs should always be crated while in the car, or at the least restrained with a doggie seatbelt to prevent it from being projected during a car accident or even after slamming on the brakes. Also puppies make messes. They're puppies it's what they do.

Its not that bad my pup has a submisive excited pee problemnot there fault and she was right puppys will pee for sure no matter what but sitting with the new own is vital and it pessens the anxiety
