no I'm sure she just rolled the window down so he could yell at her....its impossible to get out of a car when only one door doesn't work.
Ok, everyone has a right to get mad but not a right to be cruel. It was a bit of an overreaction on his part, I give you that. But is it really that hard to cross over to the driver side and let yourself out?
Sometimes it really is. If you're in the front, trying to wedge yourself over the e-brake and gearshift can be really awkward, and if you're a cripple like me, it'll hurt like a bitch too. And as the above commenter said, she probably thought that since he knew (presumably) that the handle was broken, that he would come around and let her out. Of course we don't know whether he took all the groceries in, then let her out and then complained that she didn't help, or let her out and then she didn't help carry anything in and THEN he complained. Needs more facts for sure.
anybody with common sense would do that.
Wow. It sounds like he had been keeping a lot of passive-aggressive rage bottled up.
I guess that's a recent break...maybe you driving next time will change things...
Anger issues maybe?

I guess it's your turn to yell at him.
but did you make an effort to remind him? or did you just sit there and watch him do the work before telling him to let you out?
