Today, my mom asked me out of the blue if I was ever going to consider getting married. It wasn't until after the conversation ended that I remembered my siblings are all either single like I am, or incapable of having children. I am my mother's last hope of becoming a grandma, and she reminds me all the time. FML

Today, my mom had to go off on my grandmother because I don’t have kids yet and she, "wants great grand babies before she dies." My grandmother was going to gift me a baby outfit for me to get another hint. I’m 25 and can’t conceive because of health issues. I may never have my own kids. She knows. FML

Today, we found out that my 13-year-old cousin is pregnant. My mom then turned to me and asked why I decided to wait so long. I’m only 20. Instead of being worried that this young girl has potentially ruined her entire life, my mom just complained that her sister "gets to be a grandma first." FML

Today, I was talking with my mother and expressed my slight disappointment at how many of my friends are getting into relationships, whereas I'm still single. My mother decided to encourage me by saying "Don't worry, sweetie. There are boys out there who don't go for looks. You'll be fine". FML

it's okay. this is my 21 year old sisters problem as well. luckily she has a 19 year old sister who is in a relationship and 3 months pregnant. she thanked me last week for buying her some time.

pushing someone at the very start of their life into a lifelong commitment to a man and children (because even if you break up, those kids will keep you connected forever) while you dont even know who you are yet is completely ****** up. she clearly cares more about herself than your happiness and development. parents like this deserve nothing more than a big fat **** you.
