Hi to continue after that fiasco the waiter was very apologetic and so was the owner and I got 15% of my bill and got recommended a Dry Cleaners that specialised in "accidental" stains so not all bad :)

They should have completely complimented your meal and paid for the dry cleaning. It shouldn't have been 15% you're in a place where they should be offering that instead. Idk why you thought it was a good deal...
No. Not everyone even drinks wine. They need to repay the actual costs of the pants or dry cleaning, not give you some free wine. That's terrible service on so many levels.
Man, that waiter must have the world's worst case of butterfingers.
Do you live in a sitcom?
I bet you got more food on the outside than you actually got to eat.
sounds like an aweful oxyclean commercial
I feel sorry for the waiter. It could've been his first day and he was really nervous.Accidents happen and as somebody who works in customer service, customers like op are the best kind of people.
Okay. It's obvious that waiter doesn't like you. You need to find out why.
Today, at work I accidentally spilled a chocolate dessert over a guest wearing white pants. My boss told me to give their table a free bottle of red wine to make up for it. When I went to bring them the wine, I spilled the whole bottle over the same customer. She took it pretty well but I think I have to start jobhunting again. FML

That waiter should consider a different profession. Preferably one that doesn't involve carrying anything.
After that did they give you a free dry clean?
